Worship
Houses of worship, once a place of refuge are no longer off limits when it comes to active shooter mass cassualty events. Too date there has been more than 20 incidents in houses of worship that have resulted more than 70 killed and 80 wounded since the year 2000 and more recently 26 more in Sunderland Springs, Texas. Most places of worship now have Active Shooter plans and even security to help mitigate the threat. However the delay in primary care will be delayed and others will sadly die waiting for help. The Bystander Active Shooter Education course is a great course to provide your staff and your congregation the life saving medical skills in addition be taught what they should do, and when they should do it skills that may become helpful should an event occur when someone opens fire on the innocent.
